QSK-840
Hardcover Books & Book Cases — the core job: boards fed by suction, cover glued and wrapped, both edges folded and pressed automatically to make a finished hard cover.
Photo Books & Albums — covers for photographic albums and print-on-demand photobooks, including small and thin formats as well as extra-thick ones.
Notebooks, Diaries & Planners — hard covers for notebooks and diaries in short to medium runs, where format changes are frequent.
Calendars & Calendar Stands — desk calendar covers and stand assemblies, with the accessories that extend the machine to stand production.
Ring Binders & Loose-Leaf Covers — hard covers for ring binders and loose-leaf books, using the changeable spine guides for wider spines.
Leather & Library Buckram Covers — not limited to paper: leather, buckram and similar cover materials run on the same machine.
Print Shops, Binderies & Book Manufacturers — multi-species, short-to-medium run work, which is the production profile this semi-automatic class is built for.
Why Choose This Machine
Cardboard fed by air-aspiration, not by hand — the linear guide and electromagnetic suction device picks and feeds boards from the stack, so registration is consistent and one operator can run the whole machine.
Hot and cold gluing in one unit — run hot animal (protein) glue or cold white latex on the same machine, switched as the cover material requires.
Independent homothermal heater unit — heats up fast and holds temperature, so glue viscosity stays steady through a run instead of drifting as the tray cools.
Copper alloy glue rollers, tray and peeling pieces — copper conducts heat quickly, which is what keeps the glue film even across the full 500 mm gluing width.
Automatic water replenishment with adjustable quantity — the machine tops up the water tray itself, which is the small chore that otherwise interrupts animal-glue work every few minutes.
Reciprocating automatic edge folding — both edges are folded and pressed in one cycle rather than one at a time, which is where most of the time saving comes from.
Automatic corner cutting — four standard corners cut on 1.5–4 mm board without adjustment, so the finished case has clean, uniform corners with no separate corner cutter.
Vacuum table with soft-light reflection and center positioning — the glued cover is held flat and registered against the light box, so covers are centered accurately instead of being eyed in.
PLC control of feed position, edge-folder distance and running time — settings repeat between jobs, and high-speed optical fiber detection controls the length and position of the paper feed.
Quick cardboard-thickness change and plug-in top roller adjustment — the gap is reset for different board thicknesses in seconds, and spine guides are swapped to run 2-spine and 3-spine covers.
Split-type body on high-load casters — the machine can go through an elevator or office door, and moves or levels without a rigging crew.
Operates on 220 V with one worker — no skilled binder needed to run it, which is what makes short-run hardcover work viable in-house.
